香港:台湾怎么想?

我就這樣說好了,台灣有為數不少的人之所以認為”極權沒什麼不好,有錢賺就好,飲料歸飲料,政治歸政治”就是因為,他們都是戰後(或之前)的嬰兒潮世代 (或是這個年代,什麼都沒經歷過的天然統青年)。不是他們個人的「錯」,真的不是,而是時代背景與共同記憶塑造的錯覺

那個時代全球百廢待舉,所以他們認為自己見證了從無到有,從有到富的局面。然而那個年代也正是二戰後法西斯主義、共產主義、西方資本主義競爭的年代,而在那個過程中,自由民主與人權是被犧牲的,所以無論是台灣與其它國家在那個過程中都會有白色恐怖,或是政府以非法手段拘捕與鏟除異己

在那個過程中,媒體為政權服務,因此異議人士被媒體以”滋事份子”或任何被扣上的帽子與”一般良民區隔”開來,而所有的異議人士都會被扣上反動、違反善良風俗、傳統文化、國家安全、社會秩序、國家統一、經濟發展、社會安寧的罪名

但是”安份守己的良民”什麼都不知道啊,因為媒體配合政府封閉了資訊、政府資訊不公開、想禁書就禁書,你連懷疑的可能性都沒有

就算解嚴至今已經這麼多年,很多人對國家、社會、個人生活、經濟發展與社會進步的想像還是停留在”十大建設”的年代

為什麼?因為台灣還被稱為亞洲四小龍的年代也就是這些人的人生如日中天的時刻,當他們的人生開始要進入退休狀態的時候,就算台灣社會早就發生翻天覆地的變化,無論是產業變遷、民主進程、世界局勢、教育改革、商業型態變化,都和他們的歲月靜好沒有關係

所以,他們會緬懷那個他們意氣風發的年代,就算那時候台灣社會尚未民主化,白色恐怖無所不在,都與他們無關,而且他們也會認為”我在極權時代過得很好,極權有什麼不好”?s

今日的中國其實正在重蹈台灣在解嚴之前所走過的老路,而且在手段技術與影響力上更勝N籌。台灣在解嚴前後整個過程中尚且還需要考量國際觀感與西方態度,但中國不需要了。天真的西方世界長期投資中國造就了這頭資本巨獸,而這頭資本巨獸開始買下非洲、圍堵南亞與東南亞、買下聯合國,它根本不需要在乎國際觀感,因為連西方國家的媒體、出版、和政治人物都可以受到壓迫、資助或操控時,它根本不需要害怕任何國家而做出改變

台灣有很大一群人的問題就是在於,不屑許多先進先賢拋頭顱灑熱血一步一步走過來的民主自由與公民社會,卻享受這種社會帶來的紅利。把不同年代累積造就的藏富於民,歸功於極權體制,還把任何商業上科技上的創新與機會都當成是國家恩賜,卻忽視重視創新、公平、透明、法治、對話、民主決策的社會背景才能讓所有的人都享有機會,才是讓社會前進的動力

另外我要提醒一種人,有一種人動不動就靠北”台灣太自由”,其實這樣的人 (1) 根本上自己誤解自由(liberty與freedom)的意義,把自己看到的隨便當成”自由”來罵;(2) 二方面這種到我版上靠北就已經是一種冒犯,但他自己渾然不覺

      Registration

      We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.
